For the first time, Amazon (NASDAQ:) is atop the Harris Interactive list of companies with the best reputation.
It’s the 14th year that Harris Interactive has conducted the survey, . It asked more than 14,000 people about various aspects of the top 60 corporations in America.
Respondents were asked about six items in determining a company’s reputation: Social responsibility, emotional appeal, financial performance, products, vision and workplace environment all factored into the final ranking.
This year, Amazon beat out Apple (NASDAQ:
) for the top rank. Here are the top five.
